Well, this sure doesn't look good for coach Mike Mularkey. The Jaguars' assistant coaches have been given permission to talk to other teams.
Per NFL.com: Citing a team source, NFL.com's Steve Wyche reported Friday thatJaguarsassistant coaches have been cleared by the team to seek jobs with other NFL teams.
The Jaguars' miserable 2-14 season obviously has left Mularkey vulnerable. With his staff getting the go-ahead to find other work, something significant might have changed between Monday and now.
Big news. I've spoken to a certain assistant coach of the Jaguars who has already been linked to other jobs, but he tells me that the coaches are waiting to see if more decisions are made before really pursuing other opportunities.
